Welcome and thank you for visiting my site! I am a former Royal Engineer Bomb Disposal soldier and after leaving the Army, did a few different jobs including various types of building work, fitting kitchens, and bathrooms. One of those jobs was being a self-employed electrician. This eventually led me to doing electrical and mechanical restoration for an antique dealer in North Wales. For those sins I earnt the title of “Salvage Hunter”.

After several years, I’d had enough of the cameras and not being able to go out with my children without being accosted. I moved to North Yorkshire, still working in restoration, but my love of it was fading. I decided to go self- employed again, doing things I really like doing, getting paid to fix and improve your homes (whilst drinking Gold Blend).

Generally, if I’m not working, I’m fixing yet another broken BMW in the garage OR winding my partner Jo, up and getting in her way.
